Lepai Tripath TA2020 Amplifier teardown
So, following the death of my ancient FAL Phase 44 amplifier, I found a series of very cheap amplifiers on eBay. They’re all based around something called a “Class-T” amplifier IC which seems to be an all in one IC that just needs hooking up to some inputs, speakers and electricity to work.

A fairly productive day
I’ve done quite a lot of useful things today, stuff that’s been sitting around waiting to be done. I’ve done some rather tedious housework that I really should get into the habit of doing more regularly. Then I attempted to tidy my office, but gave up after clearning the floor and cleaning my PC keyboard.

Buy my Nokia N810 Internet Tablet
I’m selling my N810. I want to buy a real satnav for my car; rather than having to mentally process MaemoMapper maps I want someone to tell me to “turn right in 0.1 miles” and “in 0.4 miles keep left”. eBay's search system is broken
The stereo in my car has no external input, making it difficult to listen to music on my Nokia N810. I have to resort to a slightly fuzzy FM transmitter that dangles around in the passenger footwell and occasionally needs retuning if I go for long drives through the country.
