for the second time. It appears this diary program doesn’t work in release mode. Great, just lost all my text.

I’m sat on the floor of the small room, it’s snowing and I really should be going to sleep as I’ve got to get up at 6am. The plane leaves at 8:20.

After 15 years of living locally to this area I am finally moving away somewhere else. As of tomorrow I’ll be in Lochgoilhead in Scotland. I’ve said bye to the people on the Llamasoft forum (and if you’re reading, hello!). In fact, if anyone is reading this it means this program worked and didn’t eat my data. I think I’ll dump the database before doing the first transmission, just to be safe.

In Scotland I’ll be training to be an outdoor instructor. I have an idea what this will involve, but it’ll be interesting to see what the reality is. I’ll do my best to keep this diary regular, and try even harder to get it online somehow.

OK, let’s see if this program holds together well enough. I only knocked it together in about 2 days and it’s had little or no testing. Still, should be nice and bug-free after some proper usage. Plus I might make it usable for other humans and package it up nicely.
