Trying to learn OpenGL and SDL programming. It’s proving interesting and a little frustrating. I’ve got the big red OpenGL book, and the tutorials from nehe.gamedev.net, but some of the stuff is baffling me.
I hope I don’t have to start worrying about BSP trees and other things like that.
The last time I tried learning them, they didn’t make a lot of sense. And I remember not being very good at matrix translations either.
Still, it makes a change from console-based programming. I drew my first cube yesterday :-) Now to work out how to move the camera around it.
